About the Hotel
Occidental at Xcaret Destination is an all-inclusive hotel located in the Riviera Maya, next to the famous ecoarchaeological park. This resort offers a unique experience of contact with nature, as it is located inside a jungle reserve. The complex has five freshwater pools, an adult-only saltwater pool, a children's pool, and a beach club with a small bay. In addition, it has a gym, golf course and nine event rooms with capacity for 1,100 guests. The hotel has 11 restaurants, including five specialized à la carte restaurants and one exclusive Royal Level restaurant, 9 bars and a nightclub. The property has a children's club and offers an entertainment program with activities during the day and evening shows.
The hotel has 765 rooms and suites equipped with television, minibar, air conditioning, radio alarm clock, telephone, safe and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Royal Level suite guests have access to special services, such as private check-in, personalized concierge service, solarium, free Wi-Fi, room service and an exclusive à la carte restaurant.
The resort is located 8 kilometers from Playa del Carmen. In addition to Xcaret, there are numerous attractions in the surrounding area; you can visit the Cenote Route or the Tulum Archaeological Zone, whose main structure overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Cancun International Airport (CUN) is 61 kilometers away.
