About the Hotel

Iberostar Waves Quetzal is a luxury all-inclusive resort located on a white-sand beach. The hotel is near Playa del Carmen, only 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from downtown, and 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Xcaret Park. Cancún International Airport (CUN) is 60 kilometers (37.3 mi) away. Iberostar Waves Quetzal has 350 guest rooms distributed in three-story buildings inspired by the Mayan architecture. Accommodations are equipped with a terrace, telephone, cable TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffeemaker, in-room safe, and a private bathroom with shower. Iberostar Waves Quetzal offers a daily activities program, night entertainment, and a number of sports, including archery, bowling, windsurfing, and catamaran rides. The hotel has many pools, a complete spa, a fitness center, tennis courts, lounges, as well as services for weddings and any kind of events. Kids will have lots of fun with the activities at the Star Camp, developed based on the different types of intelligence and split into three age categories. Star Camp Children's Club Activities at the Star Camp were developed based on different types of intelligence. The program is split in three age categories: Monkey, from 4 to 7 years; Dolphins, from 8 to 12 years; and Eagles, from 13 to 17 years.

Land Sports Land sports include aerobics, shooting, cycling, beach volleyball, gymnastics, table tennis and tennis.

Water sports Sports activities include water fitness center.
