About the Hotel
Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada is an all-inclusive hotel located on an extensive beach in Puerto Plata. The property houses four restaurants with Japanese, Dominican, Brazilian, and Mexican specialties, as well as five bars. The hotel offers a wide variety of land and water sports, a pool, and a fitness center. For kids, there is a children´s club and a children´s pool. A Spa, a beauty salon, and a variety of shops, including a convenience store, are also available.
The 516 guest rooms are fitted with a balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens or the sea. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV, minibar, telephone, and in-room safe. Accommodations also offer a private bathroom with shower and tub, bathrobes, and slippers. The hotel offers complimentary access to the wet areas of the Spa (only adults).
This hotel is located on the beach of the Golden Coast, 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from downtown Puerto Plata where you will find bars, restaurants, shopping centers, and cultural attractions for the whole family, such as Independence Square and Cathedral of San Felipe. Puerto Plata International Airport (POP) is 16 kilometers (10 mi) away.
