About the Hotel
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is located in front of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, in a tropical paradise with a private white sand beach. This all-inclusive hotel is located near Puerto Aventuras, 17 kilometers from the Xcaret tourist park and 28 kilometers from Playa del Carmen and its famous Fifth Avenue, a pedestrian street with multiple restaurants and shops. The archaeological sites of Tulum and Chichén Itzá are 43 and 186 kilometers away, respectively. Cancun International Airport (CUN) is 79 kilometers away.
This all-inclusive hotel in the Riviera Maya offers 1,264 rooms and suites designed to feel like the life of a rock star. All have a balcony or terrace, hammock, screen TV, WiFi, and a spa bath. Some rooms offer access to the third-floor terrace where there is a jacuzzi and loungers. There are two-bedroom suites with a seating and dining area. The Rock Star suites have a private pool and jacuzzi on the terrace, a selection of guitars available, a surround sound system, and decorative items by the rock band Aerosmith. The rooms in the Heaven section are exclusively for adults. The hotel accepts pets (fees, restrictions and specific categories apply).
Facilities include six swimming pools, a kids club, a lounge and a discotheque for young people. The Rocakaway Bay Water Park promises fun for the whole family. It also offers water sports, tennis courts, climbing wall, and labyrinth. The complex has an adult-only section with four swimming pools, a nightclub, three specialty restaurants, nine bars, and a spa with a fitness center, beauty salon, treatment rooms, steam rooms, saunas, and jacuzzis. As for gastronomic options, you can try Mexican dishes, cuts of meat, Brazilian, Asian, Italian and French food. It also has poolside establishments offering snacks and drinks, a cafe, a nightclub and 24-hour room service. For events and weddings, there are function rooms with capacity for 2,400 people, open spaces, gardens and a chapel. The Heaven section is an adult-only oasis with several restaurants available.
***At the request of the local municipality, the hotel will charge a mandatory tax of $26.06 MXN or $1.40 USD per room, per night, to be paid directly at the property.
