About the Hotel
Barceló Maya Colonial is a 24-hour all-inclusive family beach hotel within the luxurious Barceló Maya Beach Resort complex in the Xpu Ha area. The gastronomic offer of the complex includes two buffet restaurants, six à la carte restaurants and two beachfront restaurants, as well as several bars distributed throughout the facilities. You can also access the buffet restaurants and bars of the sister hotels Barceló Maya Beach and Barceló Maya Caribe. The property has six swimming pools, including one for adults, one semi-Olympic and others with areas for children. In addition, there is a shopping center, the largest in the Riviera Maya, which has a water park, wave pool, bowling alley, a nightclub for teenagers, 18-hole mini golf, shops, restaurants and bars.
The all-inclusive plan includes sports such as tennis, paddle tennis, kayaking, the rental of snorkel equipment one hour a day and a diving lesson in the pool once a week. There is a daily program of activities for all ages and evening shows at the Palenque Theater and the Kukulcan Theater, located in sister hotels. In the complex there is also a dolphinarium where you can book various activities with these mammals. The spa offers a wide range of facial, body and beauty treatments, as well as a children's spa, hydrotherapy area and gym. The 480 rooms and suites at the hotel have a minibar refilled daily, a safe and a telephone with voicemail.
At 25 kilometers you can visit Playa del Carmen and its famous Fifth Avenue and 45 kilometers away the picturesque town of Tulum, where the archaeological site is also located. Cancun International Airport (CUN) is 79 kilometers away.
